YOSHIMURA 234832D320 RS-4 SLIP-ON EXHAUST YZ450F 2020 20 21 2021

The 2020 Yamaha YZ450F has undergone significant changes in both motor and chassis refinements, and seems to be the 450 that many are choosing.

It's no secret that the Yamaha YZ450F has a very good stock system that many of our competitors can't beat. We spent a lot of R&D time in the dyno room and track to create our RS-4 Signature Series to what we think is the best aftermarket exhaust for the new YZ.

Proudly made in the USA!

  • Pentagonal-shaped sleeve
  • Front muffler cap functions as a poly-resonant chamber which helps reduce noise

    Sweet pipe

On my last bike I juggled between the FMF 4.1 titanium and yoshimura system. I ended up with the 4.1 titanium and lost my factory heat shield which roasted a few pairs of pants. The pipe junction points seemed less than ideal also, using no clamp, and literally a loose slip in fit with high-temp gasket maker. Sounded and looked good, but added a ton of vibration over the factory pipe, also not having a single rubber mount to the bike, only metal to metal. Long story shortened, I went with the Yosh slip-on for sound and finish more than anything, as I've found weight reduction to effect balance of the bike on jumps negatively. This pipe has a superb fit and finish using all rubber mounts, a provided clamp for a proper seal to the header, and well engineered spacers, number plate heat wrap, and bolts for a secure, vibration dampening mount. I also love that Yoshi actually provides dyno charts. I did sadly lose the heat stock heat shield kind of, but just cut the welds off the heat shield plate and transplanted to the new clamp.

Also, durability seems great. As the very first ride with it I overshot a bigger double, and wrecked causing me to get knocked out. My bars were ruined, and bike scratched, but NOTHING visible to the pipe fortunately. lol

Yoshi for mine from here on.
