    Perfection

Posted by Junaid on 5th Mar 2022

I reached out to the store asking a question and received timely response. I ordered the item and arrived on time without a hitch, thanks. The headers came with all the parts and instructions as expected.

I have not yet installed the headers yet so can’t say anything about that. The store is genuine and provide genuine parts. I am happy I bought the headers here and saved some money.

Best upgrade for an already amazing motorcycle

After quite a wait for this header to come back in stock, I'm very pleased. This system really "wakes up" the XR, with really no downside. I'm not running a Power Commander, but rideability is actually improved, even at low revs; mid-range is definitely enhanced; sound is slightly louder without being obnoxious whatsoever (although it does sound like one angry swarm of wasps at high revs!). Fit and finish is absolutely impeccable, and the bike looks so much better with the cat gone. Installation instructions are pretty thorough. The removal of the stock "colostomy bag" is not trivial - and in fact the whole install is a fairly involved process, not for the casual wrench twister. An experienced shop should be able to complete in 3-4 hours.
