SLIP-ON WITH CARBON FIBER CANISTER

M4’s carbon fiber slip-on for the FZ-09/MT-09 creates an awesome sound that will give you goose bumps. This slip-on requires cutting of the stock exhaust system (see detailed instructions below). It removes the stock catalytic converter and reduces the weight of the Yamaha by 10lbs. You will also see an increase in performance of 5 horsepower over stock.

  • Stage 1 Q5 Quiet Insert Installed
  • Q4 Stage 2 Quiet Insert Sold Separate
  • Stainless Steel Tubing

Note: Installation of this system requires cutting of the stock exhaust system. Instructions on how to accomplish this are here.

Super easy to install (if you have tools), took about 30 min. Adds some serious sound to your beast, I left the dB killer in and it’s all the noise I wanted.

    M4 Slip on

I ordered this M4 slip on for my FZ09. I was very impressed with how easy it was too install. It came with very detailed instructions on how to modify your factory header. Once that is done installation is very strait forward. Let me tell you it sounds amazing!

    great product

Very happy with the M4 Slip on. It was fairly easy to install. The directions were spot on. You will need a few tools to get the job done. 12mm ratchet with extension for headers and mounting bracket, 22 mm wrench for the O2 sensor, angle grinder/cut off wheel/ chop saw to cut the exhaust, and you will either need a grinder wheel or angle grinder to smooth weld. Overall it's a great product. Sounds great on the bike and with the relocation of the O2 sensor, it looks very clean.
